Andy has served in the residential lending and mortgage banking environment since late 1997, where he began his career with Norwest Financial as a college intern in 1997.
Andy has achieved success as a senior manager with Ace Mortgage Funding, First Community Mortgage and Bank of England Mortgage. During the great recession, he was a partner in a small, independent lender which was acquired by First Community in 2009. And as recent as July 2021, he decided to narrow his focus and level of oversight to just the Tennessee market, while continuing to serve with Bank of England Mortgage.
Andy's depth of experience in mortgage lending includes oversight in the following areas: sales (B2B, B2C), branch development, forecasting, budgeting, P&L management, policy administration, agency and vendor relations, underwriting, credit maintenance, risk analysis, performance management, recruiting and training, marketing and advertising, and specialized compliance knowledge around loan originator compensation regulations.
He earned a BS, Business Management & Operations Management, from the acclaimed Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. From 2004-2012, Voyles was a nationally Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist (CRMS), sponsored by the National Association of Mortgage Brokers. Voyles has been active in the Tennessee Association of Mortgage Brokers, Nashville Association of Mortgage Bankers, National Mortgage Bankers Association, and served on the Lender Advisory Board for the Tennessee Housing Development Agency, 2014 - 2016. In 2010, he became a SAFE ACT instructor and assisted the State of TN Department of Financial Institutions in authoring the state mortgage licensing test.
He is an active leader with the Brentwood United Methodist Church and presently serves as Vice Chair for the non-profit, Davis House Child Advocacy Center.
